This policy explains what information branchline collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account info — your name and email, handled by our authentication provider (Clerk). Content — the trees, profiles, photos, and metadata you create. Payment info — processed by our payment provider (Stripe via Clerk Billing); we do not store full card numbers. Usage data — basic logs and analytics to operate and improve the service.

How we use it

To provide and maintain the service, host and display your trees (including public share links you enable), process payments, communicate with you, and keep the service secure.

Sharing

We don’t sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run branchline (e.g. hosting, database, authentication, payments) and where required by law. Trees you mark public are visible to anyone with the link.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your trees at any time, and you can request account deletion by emailing us.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.

Children

branchline is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “updated” date above reflects the latest version.
